Dual Acquittal at Lincoln Crown Court in Operation Waterloo
Grahame James’s client and Sarah Day’s client both acquitted in Operation Waterloo
In a trial of 5 remaining defendants in Operation Waterloo at Lincoln Crown Court, Grahame James’s client and Sarah Day’s client were both unanimously acquitted of conspiracy to supply class A drugs by the jury. 15 defendants had already pleaded guilty to the conspiracy, said to involve around 50kg of cocaine.
The trial lasted for 5 weeks before HHJ Hirst, the Recorder of Lincoln. Grahame was instructed by Sakhi Solicitors and Sarah by Ison Harrison Solicitors.
