Street Theft Case Discontinued
The Day Before Trial
Chaynee Hodgetts, instructed by Olivia Bruton of Dalton Holmes Gray, represented a young defendant charged with allegations of organised theft of designer goods outside Harrods – with the Prosecution discontinuing charges against their Client. This also led to the case against the 3 co-defendants being discontinued.
The case against Ms Hodgetts’ Client was discontinued in absence, despite breach of a Bench warrant not backed for bail, and absconding. Ms Hodgetts acted for D1, with the case against all four young defendants being discontinued 3 ¼ years on, and the day before trial.
