Not Guilty Verdicts in Sexual Assault Trial

Sarah Day’s client was acquitted of two counts of sexual assault on a child under 13, alleged to have occurred in 2014, after a week long trial.

The case had several complexities including cross-examination of the complainant under s28 YJCEA 1999 and adducing evidence of prior allegations.
